Gar decided to start guitar lessons the week Adam was born. He went down to Milano's and was less than pleased with the lessons. He only took 2 lessons, and decided to be self-taught. Amazing.
He bought a book, went online and downloaded chords, and he practices every day.
Every moment of down-time is consumed with the guitar.
He plays while we are watching TV.
He plays while we are visiting family.
He takes it to work some days.
He plays while I am on the phone.
The practicing has really paid off because he is really good now!
He just sits and sings songs and picks out the chords. It's really
fun. What a bonus to have a great voice to go along with the music!
When he decides to do something- he does it all the way.
I can't believe he taught himself in such a short amount of time.
He is truly a musical genious.

That is SO Garrett! He is self-taught with all his music. He had a little piano instruction in his youth but not enough to brainwash his creativity! And he accomplishes anything and everything he puts his mind to!
Way to go Garrett!!
