we went north in search of fall leaves, cooler weather, and family fun... okay and for the pics.
as i packed our stuff, alex kept asking if we had a rake.
his preschool talked about fall. leaves fall, you rake them up- you jump in the pile.
it's a foreign idea to us. alex loved it. it's all he could talk about. (we actually don't even have a rake! 4 outside brooms, and no rake. pathetic.) i told him we'd all use our hands as rakes.
we got there (nau campus) and the leaves were barely turning colors. not only that, but the maintenance guys were top-notch, cuz the leaves that had fallen were raked up. we made do.
below are pics nana took in flagstaff. thanks, connie!!! we got some great family shots. :)
the one on the right is for alex!! hopefully he'll feel that his dream was fulfilled.
