pillows anonymous

my name is amy and i am a {recovering} decorative pillow addict.

how do i know?
*they are over-running my once tidy closets.
*i tend to buy them often.
*i am drawn to them without realizing it.
*i love them in all their splendid varieties:
solids, prints, clean geometrics, floral, bold, understated, textured, sheens, patterns.
satin, linen, silk, cotton, velvet...
*i like them small and tailored, big and fluffy, lumbar, neck rolls, euro, standard, round, knife edge, flange, quilted, ruffle flanges, with piping, turkish corners, box corners, mitered corners, buttoned, zipped, and especially down-filled.
*they have the ability to instantly alter my mood (and my decor. how cool is that?!)

last week i bought a few to put a twist on my bedroom.
although they were fabulous, they didn't work in the space, so i took them back today
and used the money for groceries instead.
hence, the recovery. i actually took them back. and used my hard earned cash on something sensible & necessary.

breathe...
i can do this...

post script:
as of now, they are not over running my closets.
i have implemented the space saving bags and they are sitting on the top shelf in my closet, amongst gar's rifles.
fabulous.

I am sure Garrett was happy you took them back.
