yesterday i was at the local farmers' market.it was just a day for fruits and veggies. and flax seed.
the market was crazier than ever, we were packed in like sardines and the isles were slow moving.
as we were in the line to check out, adam saw the bulk candy and said,
'Mom! CANNNYYYY!!'
I smiled and said 'yes, it is candy.' and left it at that.
he understood my intent, and mission and thoughtfully replied,
'No canny, just 'nanas.'
(bananas)
and so with that, i begin a new year. i believe i will take adam's suggestion as my new mantra.

WOW!! You mean he didn't even do the "canny" dance? I'm remembering his discovery of the Hershey kisses. What excited anticipation!! So cute and so funny!!
