happy easter

we had a great weekend. it was nice to be able to spend lots of time together. we had a family egg hunt friday, a neighborhood hunt saturday morning, and lots of candy. we had some good talks with the kids about the meaning of easter and Christ's resurrection. i really hope they get it. you know? i'm sure it's one of those things you hear over and over as the years pass, and it just starts to sink in. it makes me want to be vigilant in teaching them.

as always, conference was amazing. this was the first time i had my kids watch each session. (the first session of both days, and then parts of the 2n ones). it was worth the effort of having activity packets, bingo, and prizes for them. it's a must for october. i can't WAIT to get the ensign magazine in may so i can read and re-read the talks. i really want to get my hands on elder bednar's talk and implement it!!
